We had a fun time at Jefferson Patterson Park's 1812 Fair and Reenactment. This was a 2-day event, filled with good food, tactical demonstrations, tall ships, interesting artisans, Senora Bella, ox-cart rides, fencing demonstrations, and blacksmithing! We were very happy that two of Jeff's students could join us for the event -- they all had a good time around the forge, making custom pieces for reenactors and guests (lots of cooking sets were made over the course of the weekend!).
