It's a super busy time of year, so when we had a chance to go to Chestnut Oak Lodge for a weekend, we hightailed it out to the Shenandoah Valley. We rent our cabin out to visitors, but when it is available and we happen to have a free day, we try to take advantage of it. It's amazing how wonderful just a day or two away can be for the whole family....including our dog, who loves to spend time at the cabin!
